LTD "Otaņķu gardumi" is a company from Otaņķi, which has been operating since 2019. offers the highest quality homemade pastries. Our cafe in Liepāja offers home-baked products made from natural ingredients - rusks, bread, muffins, various types of cookies, flatbreads, buns, cakes and sourdough bread. We produce fresh pastries every day, guaranteeing high quality and excellent taste.

Once upon a time around 1997. bread master Smaida Balina had the idea to create something of her own that had never existed before. One that would be talked about in all corners of Latvia. As time passed, the hundredth and thousandth russ was baked, which allowed the company to develop. Clients were offered public catering, various hot and cold dishes and drinks, accompanied by tasty pies.

Thanks to the delicious pies, the master had enough funds to expand the company's operations. By renovating and equipping the premises, it was possible to roll new and different types of pies in the company.

In shop "Milti un zīle rokā" the path towards a healthier and more diverse lifestyle begins. Here you can buy organic flour, flour products, peas, buckwheat, beans, seeds, grains, spices, nuts, herbal teas, dried fruits, various drinks and much more. Most products can be weighed and purchased in the quantity our buyer desires. We are a place where you can buy everything you need for baking bread at home - flour, seeds, seed mixtures, yeast, malt, bread baking tins, baking paper and even bread cutting boards.

That's how the name came about, after a Latvian folk proverb: "Labāk milti rokā, nekā zīle kokā" !
